Yes, this place is truly beautiful, lush, incredibly well maintained, serene and spectacular.  However, the cost simply made it out of reach for my family of five.  Luckily, it has a set your own admission (which can mean no admission) every first Wednesday of the month.

Following a maze of narrow, shaded corridors that led into dramatic open spaces, strolling through this historic landscape and marveling at the diverse palette of tropical and native plants, the beauty and bounty of this tropical world is captivating.  I have heard that their mango festival (which takes place in July) is not to be missed.

First Wednesday of every month: Set your own admission.

Admission: adults $20, seniors $15, children (6-17) $10, children under 5 free
