About Me

Having been born and raised in Chicago, I moved to Paris, France as soon as I graduated from University.  Twelve years later, with a husband and baby in tow, we decided it was time to come home.  We moved back to Chicago in April 1997.  After several snowstorms and bitter cold, we opened up the map and looked for the warmest place in this country.  By June, we were on a plane heading for Florida.  Now, with three children, we are living a dream life in the tropics by the beach in Miami.  However, we cannot go to the beach every day.  Therefore, like every mom in this country, I am constantly looking for things to do with my family.

If you have $150 to blow every weekend, there are abundant choices of things to do in Miami.  Finding free or cheap things to do for a family is not quite as easy.  I am always on the lookout and I spend numerous hours each week in search of something to do that will not break the bank.  Here, on my blog, I am happy to share with you what I have planned for my family this weekend in Miami.
